Scratch is a free online platform for learning visual coding through creating animations and games.
Using Frog functionality, you can set learning activities where students report on how to manipulate the code they have created and even upload their saved projects for review.
This lesson could be used in a planned absence or as part of a lesson supported by teaching notes. The link provided on the Frog site ensures students access the correct application, making it easy to get started.
